Audio link problem
It seems that purchasers of some of my songwriting books are finding they can’t download the audio for the examples. This affects the latest versions of the books on melody, riffs and chord sequences. I’m investigating this; it is likely to be a consequence of Bloomsbury’s take-over of the Backbeat books from Rowman and Littlefield. More on this when I find out. Please ignore any one-star review on amazon stating that the books are a scam (!).
any luck getting the audio tracks uploaded?
thanks

Hello Kate,
It looks like the Melody and Chord Sequences books are up on the Bloomsbury website and there is a link for online resources where you get the audio. Not all my songwriting books have audio and some of the original editions have a CD pasted in.

Hey Rikky, I hope you’re well. I didn’t know how to contact you as I did not find any email. I’ll try through here, I’m very sorry if it’s the wrong place.
The thing is that I got one of your old books “How to write songs on keyboards” a while ago, but I can’t play the CD any longer. Is there a place where I could get those tracks to practice the techniques?
I would really appreciate your help. Thank you very much in advance.

Hello Oscar,
What did you mean by ‘can’t play the CD any longer’? Was this a new copy of the book or used? If the book is new but the CD is faulty you should be able to get a replacement from the publisher.

Hello Rikky, thanks for your reply.
It was a brand new copy, I got it as a present. Unfortunately I haven’t got any cd player where I can play it.

You can burn the audio from the CD to a computer or external DVD drive.
